A CANNABIS farm was discovered in a house after police were tipped off.
Police found 30 mature plants in Belgrave Street, Nelson, after police were alerted at a neighbour-hood policing day at Pendle Rise.
Seedlings and hydropon-ics equipment was also discovered at the house after police executed a search a warrant.
One man has been arrested and released on police bail.
Sgt Mark Baines said: "The neighbourhood policing team were in Pendle Rise shopping centre on Friday afternoon when a member of the public told them about the cannabis farm in Belgrave Street.
"The team sought out a warrant and this was executed.
"Thirty cannabis plants were seized, along with numerous seedlings and hydroponics equipment.
"A male has been arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
"This highlights how every little piece of information we receive is acted on and results achieved.
"If anyone has any suspicions about any crime being committed they should contact the police immediately."
