A special tribute to her Majesty the Queen was held at a village hall earlier this week.
Residents of Mellor gathered around the Platinum Jubilee flagpole outside Mellor Village Hall to hold a tribute to her late Majesty.
During the summer, villagers had the flagpole installed to celebrate the Queen’s 70th anniversary on the throne.
A message form organiser read: “It was very special and young and old gathered after the rains had cleared."
Fellow organiser Rebecca Lamond said: “We listened to the brass band - had a speech laid flowers and candles around the pole and shared chocolate cake and drinks together and for the first time as a village we sang the national anthem God Save the King.”
