FAITH leaders took part in a meeting to encourage greater understanding between religions.
The Jamia Masjid Mosque, Brunswick Street, Nelson, welcomed mosque leaders and members of local churches on Tuesday morning.
The event, organised by Building Bridges, was aimed at improving dialogue and understanding between the two communities.
Building Bridges chairman Dr Ikram Malik headed up the Muslim delegation.
