A legendary Hacienda DJ will return to an East Lancashire music venue following two previous sold-out shows.
Graeme Park heads back to St Mary’s Chambers in Rossendale on Friday September 23 following his sell-out gigs at the venue in 2019 and 2021.
Graeme Park, or ‘Parky’, played to his first sold-out audience at St Mary’s Chambers in August 2019 and again in 2021 to rave reviews, and the venue’s managers are delighted to have him return.
Venue director John Patrick said: “We received fantastic feedback from his previous two shows at the venue.
“The audience had a brilliant time and we’re thrilled he’s returning and we’re able to bring this legend of house music back to Rawtenstall.”
Having made his name at Manchester’s renowned Haçienda Club in the late 80s, Parky has now been DJ-ing for more than 30 years, and shows no signs of slowing down.
He was instrumental in the critically acclaimed Haçienda Classical shows, which opened Glastonbury 2017, and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Isle of Wight Festival, Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl amongst arenas and festivals throughout the UK, Dublin, Switzerland and Dubai.
Without doubt, Parky is one of the most legendary personalities in the dance music world, and brings in a huge audience with his new and older tunes mixed together like only he knows how.
Confirming he still loves the music, and loves to play it for people to dance to, Parky said: “For my entire career I’ve been finding good tunes that I want other people to hear. The reason I keep doing it is simple: it’s my mission in life to let people hear good music.”
Support on the night comes from some of Rossendale’s best loved DJ’s including Jay Flick, Jay Mcfadden and Si Carvell.
