With the latest Elvis biopic proving to be a box office hit, a Hyndburn venue is excited to welcome the King into town.

The Civic Arts Centre and Theatre in Oswaldtwistle is lucky to have secured the talents of one of the world’s greatest Elvis Presley impersonators, JD King.

On Sunday, August 28, the impersonator will be performing at the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre in Union Road at 7.30pm.

JD King has a renown reputation for an electrifying tribute show. Of all the Elvis tribute acts, he is rated the number one Elvis impersonator with dozens of five star reviews from celebrities, newspapers and direct verified customers worldwide.

Lancashire Telegraph:

His theatre show features his Burning Love Band (in larger venues) and the King’s most popular songs.

From the birth of 1950s Rock ‘n’ Roll through to the ballads of 1970s Las Vegas. JD takes you on a journey through each of the eras in Elvis’ career, highlighting all the greatest moments.

In 2019 JD King was inducted into the international Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame. It has officially recognised him as one of the best Elvis impersonators in the world.

Famous for his amazing impression of Elvis, he is not just one of the best Elvis lookalikes but has been noted as one of the most charismatic.

Because of this he has become a well-known and popular TV personality, prominently featuring in programmes including BBC One’s Take Off with Bradley & Holly and Elvis: The Man That Rocked The World on Channel 5.

Gayle Knight, creative director of the Civic, said: “We’re really pleased to have got JD King to perform at the Civic, he’s the number one Elvis impersonator so we know we’re in for a good show.”

The show will begin at 7.30pm on Sunday, August 28. You can purchase tickets by contacting the Civic.
