An arts collective from Lancashire is hosting an event at Clitheroe Castle this Sunday.

Bolton Arts Collective is bringing a whole day of free arts to the beautiful surroundings of Clitheroe Castle on Sunday.

The event will feature seven hours of spoken word, poetry, music, theatre, workshops and makers and sellers.

Creatives from across the North, including Lisa O'Hare's Four-Star fringe show 'Do You Remember The First Rhyme', along with comedians including Mark Newsome (Channel 4's SCREW), Serge Campbell (Laugh Till You Fart) will be appearing.

The line-up features poets from across the country, such as Birmingham collective Spoken Lyrik and Manchester's Black owned and run The Poetry Place.

Slam award winning queer punk poet from York, Crow Rudd, will also be there, as well as music from Third Summer, and OneSixWave's JT Kobie and Friendly Whiskey.

Bolton Arts Collective will be hosting workshops from Ilaria Passeri (sock puppets for kids) and Bent Key Publishing will be offering zine making for all ages.

The collective has more than a decade of combined experience in running events, the collective are excited to be working together for the first event as part of it’s new group.
