One man has been charged with theft following a “knife point” robbery at an Aldi store.
Police are looking to speak to any witnesses following the attempted robbery, which happened at the supermarket, in Active Way, Burnley, last month.
One of the two suspects, Aron Cadwell, 44, of Thurston Street, Burnley, has now been arrested and charged with theft.
Cadwell has been released on bail to appear at Burnley Magistrates’ Court on August 30.
Police were called to Aldi at around 9.50pm on Saturday July 16 after an attempted robbery at the store.
After being challenged in the car park, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a sharp object and threatened the staff members.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We’re still appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery at Aldi on Active Way in Burnley last month.”
If you know who he is, please contact police on 101, quoting the log number 1558 of July 16 or email 5552@lancashire.police.uk
