Firefighters spent around two hours tackling a house fire last night.
Two fire engines from Lancashire and Morecambe were called to a fire at a property in Lancaster Road, Caton on Monday (August 15) at around 9.30pm.
They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the blaze.
The crews were at the house for around two hours.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is now under investigation.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe were called to a property fire on Lancaster Road, Caton.
“Firefighters used two breathing apparatus one hose reel and one jet.
“The fire service remained in attendance for approximately two hours and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
