A warning has been issued by the fire service after crews were called to 'out of hand' campfires during the heatwave.

Firefighters from Darwen were forced to respond to several fires during the heatwave at Jumbles Reservoir.

One of the blazes got out of hand ‘very fast', while the people who set a second fire also dismantled a stone wall to create it.
