Discount retailer, B&M, says it will be relocating one of its Lancashire stores following customer feedback.
Its Morecambe store, which is currently situated on Marine Road, is set to be moved to a much bigger and better site.
Following feedback from regular shoppers that they wanted a bigger shop and even more products, the store team have today confirmed that they will be moving into the former DW Fitness site situated on Hilmore Way, which is around a five minute drive from the current site.
The store will be much bigger than the previous with over 21,510sq. ft. of sales space, offering an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware and DIY.
The new Morecambe store will also feature an 18,116sqft mezzanine floor featuring Home by B&M.
The Morecambe bargains store shut their tills for the final time on the Saturday August 6.
However, customers won’t have to wait much longer to get back in to store as the new site will open its doors at 9am on Friday August 26.
The store manager at B&M Morecambe, said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big branded products.
“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”
