Four fire engines were called waste blaze in a derelict building behind a court building.
Crews were called yesterday (August 7) just after 7.15pm to Mount Pleasant Street in Burnley.
The fire involved a pile of waste inside a derelict building.
Crews used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the blaze.
They were in attendance for 45 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 7.17pm on August 7, four fire engines from Burnley, Hyndburn and Nelson attended an incident on Mount Pleasant Street, Burnley.
“The incident involved a small pile of waste, located inside a derelict building, which was well alight when crews arrived.
“Firefighters used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for forty-five minutes.”
