A new bakery is set to open in East Lancashire and their creative blondies and brownies look good enough for Willy Wonka’s factory.
Blondie Brownie is opening its second shop on Sandy Lane in Barrowford following the success of its first site in Barnoldswick.
They will be serving some of their signature blondies and brownies and will also sell coffee to wash the bakes down with.
Owners Natalie Mitchell and Kayleigh Blacklock hope to open the new site at the beginning of September and say they are excited for the new venture.
They said: “We can’t wait to expand our business and open our new shop in lovely Barrowford.
“We’re really excited to be a part of the Barrowford community.
“Our fab customers have been asking us to open another shop, so we’ve listened and can’t wait to get started.”
The bakes for sale look mouth-wateringly good with their cherry bakewell blondies, Biscoff millionaire’s shortbread brownies proving particularly popular among customers.
Nutella, white buttons, kinder, apple pie and cornflake tart are other flavours you will find in the shop.
Blondie Brownie began as a hobby for Natalie and Kayleigh.
Originally, the idea was to just bake a few brownies for family and friends while having a laugh, maybe making a little extra spending money to fund nights out.
Little did they know what was about to come.
Since launching in 2017, Blondie Brownie has evolved into a full-time enterprise with their our own premises in Barnoldswick and an ever-expanding online presence with over 28,000 Instagram followers.
