A blast from the past is the latest piece of the £5million Avenham and Miller Park redevelopment.
Two cannon, which are being installed on Avenham Walk today, are full-sized replicas of two historic Sebastopol cannon, which were removed from the park in the 1960s.
The original cannon were presented to Preston following the 1854-55 Crimean War, which involved the Preston-based 30th and 47th army regiments.
