One of East Lancashire’s newest restaurants has opened its doors and invited would-be customers to take a look inside.

Freya’s Grill, a bar and restaurant that serves a range of meals ranging from steak, burgers, cocktails and peri-peri chicken, is now open for business on Duckworth Street, opposite Darwen Lidl.

Manager Naz Islam says he and his staff have worked hard to be ready to open up this month and that reception from customers so far has been overwhelmingly positive.

He said: “We absolutely loved having all dearest customers coming over for dining in with us.

“Their amazing reviews on our food and service is really appreciated and we can’t wait to have them back again to give us their continuous support and opportunity to serve them with our best.”

The restaurant is right in Darwen town centre, which Mr Islam hopes will make it easily accessible for people from the town itself as well as for visitors from further afield.

Freya’s Grill is open every day of the week except Tuesdays, from 5pm to 10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 5pm to 11pm on Fridays, 4pm to 11pm on Saturdays and 4pm to 10pm on Sundays.

Menus are available online and customers can book by calling 01254 427177.
