The organisers of the event shared their excitement over the "biggest announcement they’ve ever made".

Gayle Knight, Creative Director at the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre said: “Naturally, we’re thrilled to have Divina come to our theatre, we’re all huge fans and are looking forward to a fantastic evening."

The Civic Arts Centre and Theatre is a centre for all forms of arts including dance, drama, music, musical theatre, singing, crafts, photography and much more right in the heart of Hyndburn.

Gayle continued: “Divina coming to us is part of the changes we’re making to the way we run the theatre and one of the many big artists that we have lined up over the coming year, with more announcements to follow soon.”

Owen Farrow, who goes by the stage name of Divina De Campo, is “a seasoned British drag queen and singer” known by fans for her high soprano and 4-octave range.

Her love of theatre led her to star in stage productions including The Ruby Slippers, a play that explores prejudice in the LGBT community, and Dancing Bear, a musical that explores faith, sexuality and gender identity.
