Waves demolition, 2016
If you had to guess when Waves, Blackburn’s popular water fun centre was demolished, how many of you would say it’s over six years ago?
This picture was taken in February 2016 when little was left of the pool complex, notable for the water slide which came out of the building.
The site on Nab Lane was cleared and is now occupied by the Reel Cinema
