Milton Street, Burnley,1963
Every so often we will come across a photo in the archive which leaves us baffled.
We know this picture was taken of Milton Street, Burnley in 1963 but why there happens to be a man stood on the rood we’ve no idea.
Also, how did he get up there? There are no signs of any ladders and it was clearly the days before ‘Health and Safety’.
Can you image the problems if someone did that today!
