Firefighters have been tackling an articulated trailer blaze in Burnley.
Crews from Bacup, Rawtenstall and Burnley were called at about 12.20pm today (July 4) to Bacup Road after an articulated trailer caught fire.
The fire involved waste in the trailer and crews remain on the scene.
They have been using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 12:22 on the 4th July 2022, three fire engines from Bacup, Rawtenstall and Burnley attended an incident on Bacup Road, Burnley.
“The incident was a fire involving a large quantity of waste in articulated trailer.
“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reel jets to bring the fire under control.
“Crews currently remain on scene.”
