A man has been disqualified from driving for three years after he was caught nearly twice over the drug drive limit.
Adnan Khan, of Higher Audley Street, Blackburn, was caught by police on December 28 on New Hall Lane, Preston, under the influence of cannabis.
Khan was found with 3.7 micrograms of the drug per litre of blood, the legal limit being 2 micrograms.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates Court and was disqualified from driving for 36 months and fined £253.
He has also been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and pay £85 in court costs.
