Two stars of popular Channel 4 show, Gogglebox, attended the opening night of a music festival in Lancashire.

Brother and sister, Pete and Sophie Sandiford, from Blackpool, shared some pictures and Instagram posts of their visit to Lytham Festival on Tuesday (28 June).

Sophie posted a snap of the Lytham Festival stage, tagging her brother in it.

Undeterred by the rainy weather, Sophie also posted a picture of herself and a friend in a clear plastic rain mac, giving a thumbs up to the camera as they waited for the next headliner to take to the stage.

The 10-day Lytham festival kicked off on Tuesday (28 June).

Pete and Sophie, as well as thousands of other festival goers, enjoyed performances by  Diana Ross, Jack Savoretti and Cassidy Janson.

Wednesday saw Lewis Capaldi take to the stage with Snow Patrol set to entertain crowds tonight.

Rockers Maximo Park are also a last minute addition to tonight’s line-up.

The Newcastle-based three-piece will be supporting Snow Patrol and have been brought in to replace Kodaline who are no longer able to perform.

Also on the Thursday bill will be acclaimed singer Jade Bird.

Duran Duran headline on Friday with Nile Rodgers and Chic performing on Saturday.

Lytham is returning after a two-year Covid enforced absence and offers five more shows next week including Elbow next Thursday and The Strokes on Friday.
