A Blackburn man who was caught driving more than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit has been ordered to pay a total of almost £350.
David John Parkinson, of Rockcliffe Street, Blackburn, was caught by an automatic speed camera on October 30, 2021.
He was snapped in Stockport driving a silver Audi A3 on the A34 Kingsway at 72mph, where the speed limit was 50mph.
The 32-year-old was proved guilty during a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on May 31 and was fined £220 and given three points on his licence.
He was also ordered to pay a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and £90 in court costs, for a total amount of £344.
