A whole host of animals have been rescued in an operation between the police and RSPCA.
On Sunday, officers from Lancashire’s Rural Task Force alongside welfare officers from the RSPCA attended an address in the south of the county.
As a result, 14 dogs, seven rats, two cats and a bearded dragon were rescued.
A police spokesman said: “Today South Rural Task Force have seized 14 dogs, seven rats, two cats, one terrapin and one bearded dragon from an address to prevent them from further suffering.
“We will continue to work closely with our friends at the #RSPCA Further details to follow.”
