An Audi driver has been arrested after he failed to comply with a request for a breath sample.
Officers in Blackburn stopped the driver of the black car on Saturday.
They said that upon speaking to the driver there was a ‘strong smell of intoxicants’ and located a bottle of JD on the passenger seat next to him.
However when requested to provide a specimen, he refused.
The man has now been arrested.
A spokesman said: “Tac Ops stopped the driver of this vehicle in Blackburn. On speaking to the driver there was a strong smell of intoxicants and with open bottle of JD on the passenger seat he was requested to provide a specimen of breath.
"He has failed to provide and been arrested.”
