A business boss has been fined for failing to produce accounts.
Muhammed Umair Khalid, the registered director of Perfumes 4U, came to the attention of the courts after he failed to deliver a copy of the business’ accounts to Companies House for the financial year ending 2020.
The 46-year-old, who has an address of Forrest Street in Blackburn, has now been ordered to pay a fine and costs for his blunder.
Magistrates sitting in Cardiff fined Mr Khalid £220 and ordered him to pay costs of £75.
He was also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge fee for failing to company with his duty to file accounts and reports with the registrar.
A collection order has been made and the full amount must be paid by July 14.
