Arrested drug-driver was behind the wheel without a licence
A van driver was arrested after they were found behind the wheel without a licence and under the influence of drugs.
Officers in Preston say that they noticed the ‘nervous driver’ on Saturday evening and it soon became clear why he appeared in such a state.
A spokesman said: “The driver of this van looked very nervous when #HO30 drove past on Pedders Lane, Preston.
“The vehicle was stopped and the reason for the drivers behaviour soon became apparent. No licence, no insurance and he failed a drug wipe for cannabis.”
