CREWS worked for around two hours to put out a fire which had taken hold inside a derelict building.
Two fire engines were needed for the job, which took place on Stone Bridge Lane in Oswaldtwistle at shortly before 10pm on Friday.
It is the third time this month that firefighters have been called out to the street to deal with such an incident.
The fire involved a large amount of rubbish inside of an old building and took several officers to extinguish.
A spokesman said: “Firefighters used one main jet, one ground monitor, breaking in tools, two breathing apparatus and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
“No injuries were reported and crews were in attendance for approximately two hours.”
