A popular pub which has not welcomed customers since before the first lockdown has finally opened its doors after a six-figure makeover.

The Old Leyland Gates, in Golden Hill Lane, Leyland, has seen the bar, kitchen and beer garden renovated ready to welcome punters back in the door.

As well as an upgraded drinks offering, the bar has also been fitted with a deluxe big screen TV featuring BT and Sky Sports, so visitors can enjoy all the latest sporting events in the pub.

What’s more, the beer garden has also received a makeover, adding a spacious array of outdoor seating so more guests can enjoy a refreshing drink in the sunshine this summer.

For those looking for entertainment, guests are also invited to a range of events hosted during the week, including a weekly smartphone quiz on Thursday nights and live music nights throughout the summer.
