A 26-year-old man was arrested for drug driving after being stopped in Burnley.
Officers from the Tactical Operations Team (TacOps) joined forces with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency in Burnley following reports and concerns of anti-social driving and reports of speeding and other road offences.
With both marked and unmarked cars patrolling nearby, officers stopped a total of five vehicles. Four of them police said had relatively minor defects.
However, one blue BMW was stopped for excessively tinted windows, which when measured was found to be only be letting in 32.2 per cent light - less than half the legal amount.
Upon closer inspection the car had three dangerous tyres, no valid MOT, and the driver also failed a roadside drugs test. The driver was taken into custody into Blackburn.
