Police who recovered £190,000 worth of stolen vehicles, including plant machinery have charged a man.

In March 2021 Rural Task Forces executed a warrant after attending a site in Waterfoot.

There they recovered stolen vehicles including a Ford Focus ST, multiple Ford Transits and an large item of plant machinery.

After a lengthy investigation, with enquiries spanning as far as Kent, police have today charged Martin McNulty, from Bacup, with receiving stolen goods.

A spokesperson for Burnley and Padiham Police said: "We are committed to supporting our rural communities and will continue to investigate these incidents and do our upmost to get these individuals before the courts."
