IT might like as though there has been an invasion of particularly neat moles but this photo from 1956 shows a major milestone at an East Lancashire park.
James Holdham is shown laying the foundations for what would become a new cycle track at Witton Park in Blackburn. The track would later be developed further for athletics and continues to be an important resource today over 60 years later
