Accrington’s most famous pet, ‘Jerry the Asda Cat’, has been on an adventure through the town meeting friendly locals along the way.

As his celebrity name would suggest, he’s often found outside Asda in Hyndburn Road, Accrington, but this month it seems he’s been on the hunt for some better deals as he’s been spotted outside different supermarket competitors.

His owner, Racheal Hall, made a dedicated Facebook page for her well-loved pet so fans of the furry friend can keep up to tabs with his whereabouts.

Here’s a rundown on what he’s been up to on this month’s adventures.

Jerry was most recently spotted outside his original home-shop, Asda, leading his new friend Madeline through the car park on Thursday, June 16.

On Wednesday June, 15 Jerry decided to venture out for some even more affordable deals.

He was spotted relaxing outside of B&M, probably because he’d saved a few pennies.

Jerry decided to take a three day long weekend on Friday, June 10.

His owner Mrs Hall posted him looking adorable and cosy whilst he took a nap on his day off.

All that window shopping does take it out of you.

On Tuesday, June 7, Jerry was the Aldi cat where he was referred to as a "legend" by the woman who was overjoyed to meet him.

During his wandering, Jerry was back at his permanent home for what Mrs Hall called a work break.

On Monday, June 6, and Sunday, June 5, Jerry was spotted by a few people at B&M during different times of the days.

It seems as though the discount shop is one of his favourites, but honestly who could blame him when Dreamies cat treats are going for less than a pound?

Also on Sunday, June 5, Jerry made a friend as adorable as him in Asda.

Amanda Waddington’s son Dustin and Jerry sat back in the baby trolleys looking too cute to handle.

Mrs Hall told the Lancashire Telegraph last year how proud she was of Jerry for being a loving cat to everyone.

She said: "He does not judge anyone, he will sit on an elderly person’s knee or with a homeless person.

"He seems to know when people need him.”
