A BUSY road is expected to be closed for ‘some time’ following an accident.
Blackburn Road in Rishton has been closed by the police, who are currently at the scene.
Officers have said that the road will be closed for ‘some time’ and are asking people to find an alternative route as they deal with the accident.
A spokesman said: “We were called at 1.04 today to Blackburn Road in Rishton after reports a man had come off a bike.
"He has a foot injury. Blackburn Road is closed between J6 roundabout and Cut Lane at Rishton."
