A fire broke out in Bolton town centre last night, Saturday, with large plumes of smoke visible across the town.
The fire service and police were to a blaze on Brown Street at around 7pm, reportedly starting from a garage.
A total of 10 fire engines were spotted in attendance at the height of the incident.
Crews brought the fire under control and remained at the scene.
No-one was reported to have been hurt.
Residents were urged to keep their doors and windows closed as smoke billowed into the sky.

Brown Street was closed been Manor Street and Well Street as firefighters worked at the scene.
