Barnoldswick Freemasons are inviting the members of the public to find out more about their organisation.

The open day, which is being hosted by Faith Hope & Charity Lodge and West Craven Lodge will take place between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, June 18 at Barnoldswick Masonic Hall, Kirklands.

The event will feature a tour round the new premises which opened last October and volunteers will serve tea, coffee and cake in exchange for a donation to the 'Teddies for Loving Care charity'.

Faith Hope & Charity Lodge currently sponsor the Barnoldswick Barons U9 girls football team, and over the years both lodges have supported a number of local and national charities.

Steve Gower, Master of Faith Hope & Charity Lodge, said: “This event is open to anyone interested in finding out more about our lodges and Freemasonry in general.

“Freemasonry in this area dates back to 1792, and our members come from all walks of life and range in age from their 30s to 80s.”
