A MAN was ordered to get-off a train when he told a fellow passenger to ‘go back to your own country’ while onboard.

British Transport Police officers are investigating the incident in which a woman was racially abused on-board a service between Preston and Burnley.

They have released the image of the man above, who they would like to speak to in connection with their investigation.

At just before 4pm on 30 April, a man on the train turned to the victim and said “f*** off back to your own country” before adding “my girlfriend will come [and] smash your head in”.

He was asked to leave the service at Burnley Manchester Road station, which he did.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
