A BOUTIQUE hotel is to mark the upcoming Platinum Jubilee by offering free afternoon tea for anyone called Elizabeth.
The Lawrence hotel on Church Street in Padiham will be offering the ultimate tea experience for everyone – but those who share the Queen’s name will go for free.
The ultimate afternoon tea will include sausage rolls and a selection including the Monarch’s favourite, jam.
Alongside scones with jam and clotted cream, triple chocolate brownies, strawberries and cream and Victoria sponge will be served.
Unlimited tea and coffee will also be offered to all of those visiting the quirky hotel.
A spokesman said: “All you have to do is book via the website and bring photographic ID on the day to snag your royal freebie.
“Booking can be placed either Thursday, June 2, or Friday, June 3.”
