Fire crews had to cut a person from a car following a crash.
The incident happened around 1.20pm on Monday and involved two vehicles which had crashed on Hancock Street in Blackburn.
Three crews from Chorley and Skelmersdale attended the incident and were there for around 40 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "At 1.18pm on May 23, three fire engines from Chorley and Skelmersdale attended a road traffic collision on Hancock Street, Blackburn.
"The incident involved two vehicles.
"Firefighters used Holmatro cutting equipment, a hearth kit, a long board, and a reciprocating saw to release one casualty from their vehicle.
"Crews were in attendance for forty minutes."
It is not known whether anyone sustained serious injuries or were required to go to hospital as a result of the crash.
