Michael Higham of Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, passed away peacefully in hospital, on May 6.

During his life the 58-year-old worked as a HGV driver and also as a farmer until he became ill.

In his spare time he enjoyed caravanning and also tinkering about doing mechanics.

He loved both animals and tractors and used to collect different tractor toys, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson.

He leaves behind his loving partner Margaret, his much loved sons Richard and Robert, his dear daughter in laws Donna and Clare, his treasured grandchildren Joseph, Josh, Jonathon, Jordan, Molly, Ruby. Jessica and Jemma and also his great grandson Grayson.

He was also a dearly loved son of Brenda and a cherished brother of Jackie, Julie, Susan and David.

His funeral service will take place at 3pm, on May 23 at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations are being received in memory of Michael for Kidney Research UK c/o to Barton & Hallworth Funeral Services, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Tel No 01254 390542.
