A police car was left badly damaged following a chase in which three people were arrested.
Officers from the Tac Ops team spotted a stolen car driving through the Burnley area on Sunday.
The car was driving erratically putting other road users, and pedestrians, in danger.
Contact was made with the car by the police, who were driving a blue BMW, pictured, and the vehicle was eventually brought to a stop a short time later.
The three people who had been travelling in the car were arrested for numerous offences.
A spokesperson for the police said: "T1TacOps sighted a stolen car in the Burnley area.
"The vehicle was driving erratically causing danger to other road users and pedestrians.
"Tactical contact was made to disable subject vehicle, the car stopped a short time later and three arrested.
"This is the damage to our police vehicle."
