A BLACKBURN man has been fined after admitting to being drunk and disorderly outside a JD Wetherspoon pub.
Thomas Maughan, 41, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place on Thursday, March 24.
Maughan, of Queen Victoria Street, Blackburn, was outside the Moon Under the Water JD Wetherspoon public house in Market Street, Wigan, when he was acting in a drunk and disorderly manner, in brach of the Criminal Justice Act 1967.
Appearing at the Wigan and Leigh Courthouse on May 12, he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates handed Maughan a fine of £80, and also ordered him to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34, for a total amount of £199.
He will have to pay the fine at £5 a week beginning on June 9, court documents revealed.
