There are long delays this evening as emergency services deal with a car fire on the M6 northbound.
Fire crews were sent to the blaze, between junction 32 for Blackpool and junction 33 for Lancaster at around 7pm on Saturday.
Traffic was stopped so the fire crews could make the scene safe, which meant delays were building on approach to Forton services.
A spokesperson for Highways said just after 7pm: "Traffic has been stopped on the M6 northbound between junction 32 for Blackpool/Fleetwood and junction 33 for Lancaster/A6 near the Forton services.
"LancashireFRS are on scene with a vehicle fire.
"Delays are building on the approach, please take care. Updates to follow."
