UPDATE: Monday May 16 - both boys have now been found safe and well.

Police searching for a teenager who has been 'missing' for more than a week believe he may be with another boy.

Justin Freitas , 13, from Clayton-le-Moors has been missing since May 6, with his mother, Pauline, worried for his welfare.

Mrs Freitas said: "It's been eight days now since my son Justin Freitas went missing from Clayton-le-Moors area and even though I have reported this to the police they have done nothing much to support me and my family.

"I've rang them every day to find out what are their next move is to help me to find my son and all I get is 'we will update our log'.

"My son is still a child and it's been far too long he's been missing now."
