A FREE family festival will return to East Lancashire for its fourth edition in a months time.
Venues and spaces across Blackburn town centre are getting ready to host an array of events, performances and workshops that celebrate making on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12.
What's On?
- An incredible line-up of family friendly workshops, including model making with Aardman (the creators of Wallace & Gromit) and creating wearable posters with festival favourites Let’s Make Art! There is the opportunity to try something new for everyone
- Outdoor Theatre and Music performances for all to enjoy throughout the weekend
- Creativity meets technology with a wide range of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) workshops and activities exploring maker technologies
- Fancy a bite to eat? You won’t be able to resist the selection of delicious street food stalls
Venues include Blackburn Library, Blackburn Museum, The Making Rooms, Cathedral Square, Blackburn Cathedral and loads more across the town.
Blackburn with Darwen Council are appealing for volunteers who can help them deliver a fantastic event and give up to 30,000 visitors the best experience possible.
