A PERSON was left requiring medical treatment after fencing and a shed caught fire in East Lancashire last night.
Two crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service arrived in Windermere Avenue, Accrington, at around 7.30pm where they remained for over two hours extinguishing the flames.
One person was given oxygen at the scene after suffering smoke inhalation.
A spokesperson for the fire department said: "Two fire engines from Hyndburn attended a fire involving fencing and a shed on Windermere Avenue in Accrington.
"Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, three hose reels and two positive pressure ventilation units to extinguish the fire.
"Crews administered oxygen to one casualty who suffered smoke inhalation and were in attendance for around two hours and 20 minutes."
