PEOPLE on the Lancashire coast might be able to spot legendary TV presenter, Timmy Mallett, today as he continues his cycling and painting tour of the country.
Timmy, best known for presenting children's programmes Wacaday and The Wide Awake Club, is cycling between Southport and Blackpool today and has encouraged locals to say hello if they see him.
However, it’s not a random visit to the county and is part of his new challenge where he is attempting to ride 4,000 miles around most of the UK coast line.

You can't miss me, there's a bit of colour
Say hello, get a sticker!

Timmy, who makes and sells paintings on his fine art website, Malletts Pallette, is also attempting to paint a picture a day on 100-day-long journey.
Taking to Twitter, he encouraged locals to keep and eye out for him and say hello if he is spotted.
This shouldn’t be difficulty as Timmy, 66, is known for his bold and striking clothes and will be wearing some colourful attire and riding on a multi-coloured bike.
He said: "I'm cycling the coast. You can't miss me, there's a bit of colour.
“Say hello, get a sticker! Find me in Lancashire today between Southport and Blackpool.”
Commenting on his post, one person said: “Hats off to you. The only way I could do that is if I had an electric bike.”
Another said: “Making great progress what an adventure.”
“Now things get a bit more cold dark and northern,” said a third.
