'Lucky escape' as car overturns on the motorway with three people inside
A CAR overturned several times after a tired driver lost control of the vehicle.
It was a ‘lucky escape’ for the three occupants of the vehicle, who fortunately only suffered minor injuries.
The incident took place on the M6 northbound in the early hours of this morning.
A police spokesman said: “Lucky escape this morning for three occupants of this vehicle on M6N at Forton.
“Vehicle overturned several times before coming to rest off the carriageway.
“Tiredness established as reason for loss of control.
“Fortunately only minor injuries.”
