SWIMMING pools at East Lancashire leisure centres will be closed 'until further notice'.
Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre made an announcement on April 9, and said their small pool will be closed for the foreseeable due to a maintenance issue.
A swimming gala taking place at Darwen Leisure Centre will also see their pools closed from 1pm on May 15.
A spokesperson for the Blackburn with Darwen Leisure said: "Please note, due to a maintenance issue the small pool at Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre will be closed until further notice.
"Due to a local club swimming gala all pools at Darwen Leisure Centre will be closed from 1pm on Sunday, May 15.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
No reopening date has been given for the reopening of the small pool at Blackburn Leisure Centre.
