Film crews moved in to the Ribble Valley in 1987 for the latest episode of one of the most popular shows of the day.
Actors Jeremy Br3ett and Edward Hardwicke were at Knowle Mere Manor at Dunsop Bridge, the setting for a new Sherlock Holmes mystery - Silver Blaze - part of Granada TV’s series The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes.
In it, the master detective investigated the disappearance of a prizewinning racehorse.
