Officers from Lancashire Road Police arrested two men after a vehicle was stopped following a high theft.

Police posted this image of the men complete with pixelated emjoji faces following the arrests of two men who were suspected to be involved in a in high value theft. The was car seized and cash recovered.

In a separate incident this Vauxhall Grandland (below) which was believed to be linked to a burglary in the Greater Manchester area was stopped in Nelson. A large quantity of drugs was also located.

Driver was on ‘video call’ when spotted by officers

The driver of this VW Passat (above) was on “FaceTime” whilst he drove past a police vehicle on High Street, Standish.

Police said: “The driver was stopped and he is now “facing” 6 points and a £200 fine.”

Car recovered on M6

The stolen vehicle (above) was sighted on the M6 motorway heading towards Blackpool.  Police said they brought the  the vehicle to a stop without incident. 
The offender arrested for numerous offences and the care was driven back to the owner.

Stolen vehicle recovered in Blackburn

This was the first of two stolen vehicles located over the weekend. This VW Sharan (above) was stolen following a robbery in the Blackburn area.

This vehicle (above) was stolen from a delivery driver in the Clayton Brook area of Preston.  Police soon located the car was located after spotting it parked up.
