AN EAST LANCASHIRE bakery, known for its mouth-watering bakes, has made an exciting announcement to its 28,000 Instagram followers.

Blondie Brownie, which already operates out of Barnoldswick, will be opening a permanent pop up stall at Pendle Mill Hill in Nelson.

This comes after a successful trial month in April at the shopping outlet; they will be serving customers on Saturdays and Sundays.

A spokesperson said: “We are so excited to be a permanent weekend pop up at Pendle Village Mill!

“It’s fab seeing so many of our loyal customers and also meeting lots of new faces. We’re very happy to be part of the Pendle Village Mill family.”

Their cherry bakewell blondies, Biscoff brownies and millionaire’s shortbread have proven particularly popular at previous pop up stalls.

Blondie Brownie began as a hobby for owners Natalie Mitchell and Kayleigh Blacklock.

Originally, the idea was to just bake a few brownies for family and friends while having a laugh, maybe making a little extra spending money to fund nights out.

Little did they know what was about to come.

Since launching in 2017, Blondie Brownie has evolved into a full-time enterprise with their our own premises in Barnoldswick and an ever-expanding online presence and more than 28,000 Instagram followers.
